Pakistan continues to be one of the most dangerous countries for Christians. The Minister of Minority Affairs, Shahbaz Bhatti, who was a Christian, was assassinated in early March for daring to urge that the "blasphemy laws" be repealed. Also in March, two Christian men (one of whom was newly married) were murdered at their church's 30th anniversary service in Hyderabad. Muslim radicals shot Younis Masih and Jameel Masih and wounded two other believers. Pray for God's comfort for the families of these men, as well as for their church, which shines for Christ even under extreme persecution.
