Two years ago Pastor Dmitry Shestakov, 39, was given a four-year sentence in an Uzbek hard labor camp for operating an illegal religious organization and distributing materials that promote religious extremism.  He is now halfway through that sentence.  Shestakov told the court after his verdict that he forgave those who brought these false charges against him.  Pray for God's special grace for Pastor Shestakov to shine for Christ in prison in Uzbekistan and for his family during his absence.  Believers are writing letters on his behalf again requesting that his sentence be commuted.
