What We Believe

We believe that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired and inerrant. 

We believe that God, the Creator of the Universe, is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We affirm the deity of Jesus Christ and the Biblical accounts of His virgin birth, His literal performance of miracles, the shedding of His blood on the cross to make atonement for sinners, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension into heaven. 

We believe that man is a sinner by nature and on his own merit has no way of cleansing himself from sin or of gaining acceptance with God. Salvation is the gift of God available to man by grace through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and believers will have eternal life in a literal heaven and unbelievers will suffer in a literal hell. 

We believe that regenerate believers should be baptized by immersion and join a local church, which is autonomous and self-governing. 

We believe the Church is God’s means for the fulfilling of the Great Commission of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 

We believe in the imminent return of Christ to receive His Church and to rule as the eternal King.
